Shujuan is a Financial Analyst at The BERO Group, a firm providing litigation and valuation services. Shujuan provides accounting and financial consulting services pertaining to valuation issues and economic damages issues with an emphasis on commercial litigation and intellectual property matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Shujuan provided valuation services for more than 12 years in China. Shujuan worked on more than 80 appraisal reports that involved the transfer of large state-owned enterprises to public or private entities and conducted a variety of valuation projects including business and intangible asset valuations, real estate and machinery & equipment appraisals. Shujuan spent one year at American Appraisal Associates in Milwaukee. Shujuan is originally from China and worked as Vice Secretary General for the Shenzhen Society of Certified Public Appraisers (“SZSCPA”) for more than 6 years. Prior to joining to SZSCPA, she also worked for the Shenzhen Property Rights Transaction Firm for almost 5 years.
Shujuan received her M.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and M.S. and B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University in Shanxi, China. In China, Shujuan is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Public Valuator and a designated Real Estate Appraiser.
Shujuan was the co-editor of General Guidance to Valuation, a textbook of asset appraisals for training appraisers in China. Shujuan has also been published in International Taxation in China and The Journal of Assets Appraisal.
Shujuan is bilingual and speaks Chinese and English fluently.
